Sustainability Policy for ABTO

Between May 24 – August 15, ABTO will host an intern from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Cynthia Koenig is an MBA candidate whose studies are focused on social entrepreneurship, sustainable enterprise and biodiversity conservation. Prior to attending the University of Michigan, Cynthia worked for Rare Conservation, where she assisted Mayan farmers, poachers and fishermen in their efforts to launch community-based ecotourism businesses. She is also the founder and president of Hippo Water International, a nonprofit organization that manufactures and distributes the WaterWheel, an innovative water transport tool (www.hippowater.org). Cynthia holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Trinity College, and an M.S. in Environmental Policy and Behavior from the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources and Environment.
