1040 hrs Opening of the Nomads’ Festival and visit to all exhibitions and stalls including Yak Show, opening of all traditional games/sports/competition (Soksum/degor/khuru/zigdum/pumdo).
1145 hrs Yak riding and horse riding program will start simultaneously based on the interest of the participants.
1220 hrs Cultural program by Students, Nomads’ groups,
Dzongkhag Dancers, Local Drayangs, Mask dance, community group
1230 hrs Lunch Break
1330 hrs Yakcham, Cultural program and Mask dances
1330 hrs Yak calf weight guessing, Milking & Heifer body condition score
1400 hrs Cultural program
1445 hrs Traditional Wrestling competition
1530 hrs Quiz competition on Livestock and on Bio-diversity/protected Areas of Bhutan between Nomads’ groups.
1800 hrs Evening cultural program by different groups
2000 hrs Close for the Day
February 23, 2013 (Day 2)
0900 hrs All exhibitions and stalls will continue
0900 hrs Cultural programs – Mask dance and Yakcham continue
0900 hrs Yak/Horse riding program continue
0900 hrs All traditional games and sports continue
1130 hrs Archery in traditional bow (opening)
1100 hrs Pillow fight program
1130 hrs Competition of climbing on the pole
1130 hrs Tea break (Cultural program will continue)
1230 hrs Lunch break
1330 hrs Weight carrying competition
1330 hrs Cultural program continue
1400 hrs Tug of War between guests and nomads and also between female Nomads & females from Nagsephel village.
1500 hrs Cultural program & awarding of prizes to the winners of all 3 days’ events

Note:
If guests are interested there is provision for horse riding to Dapham Dzong (the archeological site) and Khagtang for all three days. The park staffs will escort the guests on payment of nominal fee. The guest also can experience the Raven Beak trail walk (5hrs).
There are farm house available for lodging and food very close to the festival ground. Booking can be made through WCP management. However, due to rush of guests the booking needs to be made on or before February 15, 2013.
