I. Genekha Mushroom Festival

This is to kindly inform that although ABTO was informed by National Mushroom Centre that the Genekha Mushroom Festival will be held on 13 and 14 August 2016 (co-inciding with weekend), they have changed the dates to 15 & 16 August      2016 based on request from TCB as TCB has announced 2015 date for 2016 also. Therefore, this year the Genekha Mushroom Festival will be held from 15 to 16 August 2016.

II. Matsutake Festival, Ura

As per TCB’s announcement based on Thrimshingla National Park’s letter, Matsutake Festival, Ura from 23-24 August 2016 is cancelled as the festival is likely to coincide with local government election.

III. Jumolhari Trek Route Update

Although due to recent rainfall Thongdro Zam and Rechoe Zam between Shana and Thangthangkha was washed away, it is temporarily restored.
