Association of Bhutanese Tour Operators (ABTO) are pleased to announce that upon ABTO’s intervention, the Jakar Tsechu date has been reinstated to its original date from 12th – 15th October 2013. Kindly be informed that it is not postponed.

This is to kindly inform that coinciding with Thimphu Tsechu from 14 – 16 September, 2013 the Norzin Lam starting from Y junction after Taxi Parking up to Handicrafts Emporium junction will be closed for vehicle traffic (No Vehicle Zone) between 8.00 AM – 7.00 PM.

The Dzongkhag Administration, Jakar, Bumthang has informed that the Jakar Tsechu scheduled from 12 – 15 October 2013 has been postponed to 9 – 13 November 2013. All those who are affected are kindly requested to inform the Association on number of pax affected.

6th January 2012 (Takin viewing) 9:00 -11:00am : The drive to Punakha from Thimphu is around 2 hours. Therefore, everyone to start their journey from Thimphu at around 9am. However, it is recommended to start early to keep some time for en route sightseeing. 11:00-11:10am : All Guests to gather at Punakha Dzong parking.
