The Association is aware that many clients of our tour operators has been affected by the recent road blocks especially at Trongsa. We are grateful to Department of Roads for trying their best to clear the road(s) and TCB for facilitating extension of visas/ permits with waiver of royalty for the days affected.

As a case of force ma-jeure, the Association would like to take up the matter with TCB and Druk Air, if further assistance could be provided in terms of refunds for the days affected and no-show/ date change charges. In this regard, the Association would like to request if the details of the affected tourists could kindly be submitted to ABTO office for onward submission. The Chairman and Board of Directors will accordingly take the matter up.
