With reference to Gerab Nyed-Yon Limited announcement regarding fee collection in Kuenselphodrang vide Kuensel dated 28th January 2025, we are pleased to let you know that Kuenselphodrang has now been officially designated under the National Monuments of the Bh The National Monument Fund Supervision Committee will oversee the collection of entry fees from international and regional visitors with effect from 1st March 2025. We would like to ask for the cooperation of all visitors, tour operators and relevant agencies in supporting this initiative to ensure its smooth implementation.

Fee Structure

  • Adults (17 years and above): Nu. 500
  • Children (6 to 17 years): Nu. 250
  • Children (below 6 years): Free

Note: Fees are applicable per person and need to show the documents to confirm your age.

New monument sites and entry fees

National monuments managed by the Department of Culture and Dzongkha Development (DoCDD) charge an entry fee. The National Monument Fund Supervision Committee approved the additional monuments and the fee. The entry fee will take effect from January 1, 2026.
